Kimberley Dixon, LPC

Welcome!

Are you feeling stuck in survival mode and ready for something more? Many people come to therapy knowing they want to feel better, but are not sure how to get there. If you have experienced trauma, EMDR therapy can help you process what you have been carrying and begin to reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity, and joy.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I specialize in trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, co-occurring mental health concerns, and life transitions such as empty nest, retirement, and aging. I also have a focus on women’s issues, including menopause and fertility. I offer Christian faith-based therapy for those who wish to integrate their beliefs into the healing process, and I support individuals navigating religious trauma, faith transitions, or spiritual concerns.

My approach is warm, accepting, and grounded in meeting you where you are. I provide client-centered, holistic, and trauma-informed care, creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. I am trained in EMDR and am currently expanding my work through training in Gottman Method therapy.

Over the past decade, I have helped many clients reduce or resolve the impact of traumatic experiences, allowing them to move forward with greater confidence and emotional freedom. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.

I work with individuals over the age of 25 years old and couples
